Siemens Stiftung’s Kenyan social enterprise, WeTu, uses specially-designed solar fishing lanterns for nighttime deployment on Lake Victoria. With up to 12 hours of light and 500 charging cycles, the lanterns are well-suited for nighttime omena fishing.
