Solidarity with Ukraine

The Siemens Stiftung is shocked by the war in Ukraine. In order to provide those people who are affected with targeted and rapid assistance, we are supporting the Relief Fund for Ukraine operated by Siemens Caring Hands e.V. By this means 1 million euro has already been made available to the German Red Cross as immediate humanitarian aid to support people seeking refuge. Further measures, including support for the population of Ukraine, are already planned.

Siemens Caring Hands e.V. is an independent non-profit organization which was founded by Siemens AG in 2001. The Relief Fund for Ukraine is collecting donations from employees of Siemens AG, Siemens Healthineers, Siemens Energy, Siemens Stiftung and external partners.

The Bundesverband Deutscher Stiftungen regularly updates a list of non-profit foundations which provide assistance in various forms for people from the Ukraine: Bundesverband Deutscher Stiftungen.
