In the interest of public health and to ensure the well-being of our employees and partners Siemens Stiftung is reducing direct person-to-person contact to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. We will continue working – mostly online – to advance the foundation’s issues and projects. As a foundation active internationally, these measures apply globally.
We are in regular communication with our international and local partners to ensure that our work and programs continue operating as impactfully and responsibly as possible. Until further notice, we have canceled all Siemens Stiftung events from our current events. For the time being, only digital participation will be possible for events put on by our partners.
Location & availability
Although the entire Siemens Stiftung staff is working from home, we are still available by email or telephone. We are taking advantage of common digital communication tools to facilitate our availability and continued exchange.
What we can do
We can contribute to solutions to the current challenges with the foundation’s operational activities, such as our range of digital and multilingual learning materials for teachers and students, the online network of African artists or our efforts to ensure clean drinking water supply in the global South. Together with our partners, we are now shifting the short-term focus of our work toward these efforts.
