The Academy builds on the years of experience of Siemens Stiftung’s successful empowering people. Network. This network has provided valuable insights into the challenges social entrepreneurs and change agents face globally. Through close collaboration with its members, Siemens Stiftung has developed a deep understanding of these challenges and observed the transformative power of cross-border exchanges in advancing business ideas. The design of the Academy’s courses is based on the best practices of the network. Its offers are tailored to meet the real-world needs of social entrepreneurs and inspire future innovators. By focusing on sustainable practices, the Academy encourages the development of business models that address immediate social challenges while contributing to long-term environmental sustainability.
Learning opportunities for growth
The platform provides a variety of courses on essential topics for social entrepreneurs such as “Market Research & Customer Relations.” Its current offerings include Business Model Development, Market Analysis, Customer Analysis, Customer Experience Journey, Product Feature Analysis, Rapid Prototyping, and Follow and Observe. These courses are designed to equip entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop sustainable solutions in line with the foundation’s focus areas Essential Services, Digitality, and Climate. Additional courses are in development to expand the learning opportunities.
